About the GWPR

About our Writers

Evan Wolf Founding Editor-in-Chief; Senior Writer; major in Political Communication and Marketing; sophomore; from Orange County, CA

"I started the GWPR because I believe that a highly-political campus like GW needs to have a media publication in which any student can share our political opinions. The GWPR is here to let you share your voice through intelligent, evidence-based, and high-quality articles. In my own writing, I am passionate about democracy and government/electoral reform."

Kyle Anderson Head of Logistics; Senior Writer; major in Political Science and double-minor in Journalism and Photography; senior; from Youngstown, Ohio

"I wanted to join GWPR and its E-Board because I really resonate with their mission to fairly represent our campus's diverse community. I've long thought that every person deserves to have a voice, and now I have the opportunity to help that be the case through GWPR! I really hope that by the time I graduate I can help GWPR get a good base of consistent writers from all walks of life at GW, and maybe even get some of those diverse voices into print! My favorite topics always relate to representation and messaging. I feel like too many people these days go underrepresented or unrepresented altogether, and that's something that definitely needs to change. I also feel like politics is a PR disaster, and anything we can do to fix the messaging could go a long way."

Adrianna LoBasso Guest Writer; major in Political Science and minor in History; sophomore; from New Jersey

"I wanted to write for GWPR because it’s a great outlet for political opinions and current events. There is no other org like it. Some topics I’m passionate about are women's rights, universal healthcare, and gun reform."
